Get to know the humans that call themselves Dos Goats…
Hey There!
We are Christina & Adam, two weirdos who fell in love on Bumble, and shortly after realized we want to spend all our time together, so we created the wedding planning company Dos Goats Plans!
We did not just one day wake up and say…
“Hey, we want to be wedding planners now”, this is a long-time passion of mine (Christina’s), It just so happened that I manifested my dream partner who would have knowledge in the industry as well, and the drive to do something like being a wedding planner!
My journey in the wedding industry started 15 years ago (which seems crazy to me!) Since my first day as a banquet server at Minneapolis Golf Club, I knew I would one day be a wedding planner. I made sure to gain as much experience as possible, to ensure when the time was right, I would own my business. Being a spiritual person, I realize that the Universe sent me Adam and we realized that there was not a “perfect time” The Time was 2018, it was almost August, I had run it by a few industry friends, and they ensured me it was an amazing choice.
When I (Adam) met Christina, she would mention wanting to start something of her own. We both worked hard at our careers, I was a CNC machinist (makes tiny parts out of titanium that are required for surgeries) and she (Christina) worked at one of the largest catering companies around, but we both knew there was more. We both also knew that to do something that requires this much time and energy we would have to jump in head first and we left our positions and found part-time work that would allow enough time to start it and it was SCARY, however we felt that if we poured everything into the couples that entrusted us with their big day…..We would succeed, and to trust our energy put in, would be met with that level of achievement we really didn’t at the time think was possible! We recently just booked our 100th couple with Dos Goats, and we are so grateful to be rapidly growing this little business of ours!
What makes Dos Goats stand out
We are a couple that do this together. It is not like I am the planner and Adam just builds things, he is making timelines, coming up with layouts, and designing floral installations with the best! He is such an asset to those who we work with, Adam comes with a wealth of knowledge in the wedding industry and is always eager to expand his knowledge. He is a guy’s guy, so if he is talking to your future husband, they will not feel left out. While also being able to talk flowers and décor.
